A TAKE ON SEWING...
To know the site and the client makes the exploration of their relationship and the tear clearer. For these realised projects the solution is often to mend and sew the tear together. The building becomes a part of and supports the existing context.
But the projects also bring out the break; accentuating the way the newcomer crosses borders and highlights the tear.
To go deeper and further explore the break and how it can be shaped in the form of the tear would be a very rewarding way forward for my architecture.
Älgö - Stockholm
The firs - the height - the view - climbing from the floor of the forest to the nest on the top - the honest materials - the play of the light - the rythm of tranquillity.
Östergarn - Gotland
A place to rest - a place to sort through memories - tucked in between the mystiqe of the trees and the open vista.
Shanghai - China
Shanghai Future Office Park - The Peach Blossom Building - a play between the rough concrete and the sleek pink sun-screen lattices.
Sliema - Malta
A play between the dark purple interior and the light meeting rooms - a jewellery box lit from the south
Långsjön - Södertälje
The new structure rests beween the view and the rock - opening up to the south - shielded from the north.

Small additions complements the whole - a house already connected to nature, now even more.
