To know the site and the client makes the exploration of their relationship and the tear clearer. For these realised projects the solution is often to mend and sew the tear together. The building becomes a part of and supports the existing context.
But the projects also bring out the break; accentuating the way the newcomer crosses borders and highlights the tear.
To go deeper and further explore the break and how it can be shaped in the form of the tear would be a very rewarding way forward for my architecture.
